Is my e-dictionary approved by the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) for use in Chinese Composition examinations?
Creative Knowledge Labs e-dictionaries that are approved by SEAB for use in Chinese Composition Examinations.
They are:- PX2051, PX2101, PX2131, PX2181, PX2201, PX2221, PX2231 & PX2281
Although SEAB has set a deadline of 5 years for each of the e-dictionaries to be used, prior to the end of the deadlines, we will submit the e-dictionaries to SEAB for approval again and for the deadlines to be further extended. We will like our customers not to be overly concerned with the deadlines. As long as the e-dictionaries continue to meet the Chinese Composition examination requirements in Singapore, We will continue to apply for an extension of the usage period until a new model is released.
Why is there no sound when I press the “发音” key?
As this is an examination model, please put on the earphones provided to listen to the vocalization.
Why is the touch screen not sensitive?
Our dictionary uses a pressure tip sensor to detect the input. A little pressure is required to allow more accurate detection.
How do I enlarge the character?
Model: PX2131, PX2181 & PX2281
Press the ‘right arrow key’ and the character will be highlighted. You will see a flashing “key” beside the screen in the explanation page and may press ‘*‘ to have the character enlarged.
Model: PX2201(5 inch), PX2221 & PX2231
Press the magnifying glass icon to have the character enlarged.
